Cosabella’s newest venture involves faux denim leggings, but you better think twice, before calling them “jeggings”, according to vice president of sales, Guido Campello.
With sateen leggings under their chic belt, Plenty by Tracy Reese will tap into another line of accessories. This coming fall the company will have an extra spring in their step, literally with their new line of 30-style shoes. Plenty known for its specific color palettes, patterns and texture transitions its newest line into masculine and vintage inspired details. With friendly consumer prices from $95 to $200 and styles ranging from flats, heels, clogs and boots, this will be sure to keep Plenty customers, plenty happy.
Another company taking cue of the need for more affordable pieces includes Melrose Avenue’s own Vintage h(e)aven, Decades. Its owner, Cameron Silver has his eyes set on conquering the world of denim with the help of Genetic Denim’s Jack Mccue. Price points range from $99 to $119 that include pairs named after some of hollywood’s biggest stars; Ali Mcgraw and Marilyn Monroe. With this West Coast establishment having a die hard fan base that includes some of the wealthiest and most powerful fashion players, Cameron Silver doesn’t want to disappoint.
From Melrose to Madison, J. Crew opens its first bridal boutique in New York City. With prices comparable to the likes of David ‘s Bridal and the luxury of Vera Wang, there is no doubt that this will be their first and final bridal boutique. Millard Drexler to CEO of J.Crew Group also agrees with this sentiment, but remains hesitant to confirm any future plans, “We will see how it goes. We are in no hurry. (…)”.
